Hey! Only six years into our doing dinner we are now posting our menus beyond just the e-mail! Advance publicity! What a concept!  Although we try to keep this page up-to-date, things do change. Friday Dinner Menu

Anna Baguette

with Goat Rising chevre and kalamata olives

Bread Plate

Goat Rising chevre, gouda, cheddar, kalamata olives,

and Anna baguette add salami

Chermoula Catfish & Tabouleh Salad

Chermoula blend of herb and spices marinated catfish pan seared on top of chilled tabouleh salad

Nile River Lentil Soup

Puree of red lentil with garlic, ginger and fresh coriander leaf garnished with sauteed carrot

Spicy Moorish Chicken Soup

Hormone free chicken in a spicy broth with vegetables and bulgar grain

Moroccan Style Local Beef Kabobs

Ground grass-fed beef (Steady Lane Farm) seasoned with African spice blend served with curry couscous, sauteed spinach and cucumber raita sauce

Falafel with Tagine Mixed Vegetables

Puree of seasoned boiled fava beans, deep fried, served with saffron, mint and raisin couscous, seasoned zucchini, summer squash and spicy yogurt sauce

Local Burger

Steady Lane burger on a Gretchen-made bun, with salad and

chips, with choice of cheddar, blue, swiss, or gouda

Come for dinner on Fridays. Not on Saturdays, unless it’s a special event. Do not put chewing gum in the cloth napkins. No screaming. No twirling on the poles lest you go careening off into the glass bakery case and then to the hospital. Don’t forget to pay for your bread. No bears at the tables. All swordfights must take place outside the store at a minimum of 50 paces away from the front door. No contretemps nor fisticuffs. No smoking or spitting. Swearing softly is allowed among friends.
