This festival begins at 4:00 pm at Elmer’s, and includes much hobnobbing with the film-makers and the stars of the films you’ll be seeing that night.  We’ll have a red-carpet event where the film-makers and their stars will be announced, the band will play, and it will be the event of the season!

It costs $5 to get in, which helps me pay the band:  WhatCheer? Brigade.

The food that night is extra (just like at regular festivals because it costs money to make and serve food.)  But here’s what we’ll be serving:

Fried Chicken

Jambalaya

Beef Kabobs

Bruschetta

Spinach-Artichoke Casserole (Vegetarian)

Red Beans and Rice (both with and without meat)

Chili (Both with and without meat and with Cornbread)

You can certainly attend the Pre-Festival Food Festival even if you aren’t attending the Film Festival and you can attend the Film Festival if you aren’t attending the Food Festival.

At the end of that event the band will march down the street to the Common where they will play a little bit before the opening of the Town Hall and Congregational Church doors.

At 6:30 the Town Hall and Congregational Church doors open and the Film Festival begins at 7pm.

After the Film Festival we will have the

Ashfield Film Festival After Party

back again at the Inn at Norton Hill.

This event is free, with hors d’houvres and a big ole cake made by Gretchen!

So what a day!  Come all of y’all to all of it!
